“Father, I thank you because the minute we open our mind, the atmosphere changes from Glory to Glory, from faith to faith! Father, release Your oracles! Blow even more, open the ears of the hearers, open the eyes of the blind, heal the broken-hearted, and deliver us from ourselves! Deliver us from all the little foxes that have been ruining our nourishment, our table that comes straight from Your vine! God, I am so hungry! I can’t live without Your bread, Your voice, I can’t live another day without it. I need my bread and DAILY! GIVE ME THIS DAY, OUR DAILY BREAD! You told us to pray to have bread from heaven, day by day!”
The greatest attendance of any church is during Sunday’s services. We have been indoctrinated to eat only on Sundays, but that is not what the Creator said; it is not what God said. If you want the benefits of the cross, you must obey Him more than men’s traditions. Wonder why you have so many conflicts, but if you train your spirit to eat daily bread, you will start requiring of Him! It is all about our own initiative to eat or not to eat. We can’t blame the devil for being weak. Be ready because today I will be speaking of the Word spoken by the Author of it!
Let’s go to Luke 19:45-48. Jesus was teaching in the temple daily! He threw out all of them who were selling and buying the sacrifice. He flipped the table! He exposed them and said, MY house is a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves! The Word that became flesh and dwelt among us was teaching in the temple. DAILY. The DAILY DELIVERED WORD has been sent to you, straight to your ears, eyes, to your convenience, but you still don’t eat it. You still come to church only on Sundays, thinking you can spend the rest of the week strong! You pick which day to go to church, thinking you can’t be messed with by the devil throughout the whole week. What a deceitful religious mind! What if God starts saying, “Hey, guess what? I don’t want you to be meeting in My house only once a week. It can’t be only 1x a week nor even 3x a week, but DAILY! Yes! This is exactly what He is saying today to you! But now we are the house. We have the High Priest Himself. All we have to do daily is to sit. He has already prepared the table; it is written!
There are specific things God has said to us clearly, without any shadow of doubt, so we all can understand it! He said, MY Words are Spirit and life. If you want to LIVE THE LIFE OF GOD EVERY DAY, you need to EAT HIS WORD EVERY DAY! What happens when you start starving yourself by not eating the Word of God? Eventually, you will begin to die! If it happens in the flesh (natural), it will be worse in the spirit. “And he taught daily in the temple” (Verse 47). But the priests, scribes, chief of people, and now your friends and your family will seek to destroy Him and try to shut Him down! They are religious enemies. In their minds, they were asking themselves: “What can we do to destroy Him before they destroy what we have built?”… But they found nothing wrong in Him, but only their jealousy in them! Why could they not find anything to do their evil work? Because, “And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him” (Verse 48).
People were very attentive to hear Him; people were eating THE BREAD DAILY! That is what we need to do! “O God, what should I do? EAT THE DAILY BREAD…, “O God, why am I so weak!” EAT THE DAILY BREAD! “Why am I so confused?” EAT THE DAILY BREAD! Do you think you can carry on with your life without eating the DAILY BREAD? No, you can’t, because when we are single-eyed, when we are attentive to His Word, all the distractions in our lives cannot do what they have been sent to do.
People will eat any type of fast food, but will ignore the bread from heaven! People think that they can live only off of worship! Your worship is all old covenant type; you are worshiping because you are trying to find breakthrough, when all you need is to eat daily bread! You are trying to worship to feel closer to Him, but all you need is to eat the daily bread! Eat His flesh. Where is the victory? At the table of the Lord! But we want to hurry up and put the food in a microwave, so we can eat fast, and go back to our earplugs to listen to our favorite worship songs, or to our news about the world, or go back to our job, to our children, or even to the voice of satan lying to us! Let me ask you this question: Are you attentive to hear His voice? Why are you battling to hear His Word? Why are you not eating what He is saying? The majority of the churches worship His resurrection and His cross, all the things He did, but all He did is so we can follow His ways. We worship His works pretending to worship Him, but He said, if you obey Me, you honor (love) Me (John 14:15). That is true worship!
Here you see the importance of the table! He has prepared a table in the presence of the enemies! Remember David saying that in Psalm 23:5, but our enemies now are not flesh and blood as they were during David’s time! Our enemies are lies, unbelief, distractions, lust, pride, whispers, guilt, shame, and condemnation. Who enforces those things? Demons! Who can overcome them? Those who eat DAILY! If not, be ready for all demonic torment! When we are seated in the presence of our enemies, nothing can touch us. If you are at the table, you are in a zone. Enemies all around, but they cannot sit at the table and talk to you!
Where is the bread sitting now? In the high places. Third heaven. In Jesus’ time, there was no WIFI, no internet, no TV, no football, and Jesus said, way back then, “You need to eat every day.” Imagine today, how this need has to increase! He said, take this cup and drink it, and you will never thirst again (John 4:14), and this cup will transform into rivers of living water. Look at what He said to every believer: Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38). What is coming out of your belly? We will figure it out! If you eat daily bread, your life will talk; your actions will manifest what you eat.
The importance of the table is that He prepares it for you! We just want to preach the unaltered, clean Word of God, and this is what you hate, not H.O.T., not who is preaching, but the Word we preach. He has prepared a table! This is how you fight your battle: Sitting at the table of the Lord. You don’t have to prepare your own table. He did! He is hand-feeding you. All you need is to eat it! You are so selfish when you don’t eat what He is giving you because you start affecting the whole Body. Because you are so selfish, you are only looking at you. You don’t care about the others. Because if you did, you would be eating, so you can also feed others. You eat so the whole Body is strong!
Jesus went to the temple and saw that the temple was not operating the way it was supposed to. Today, He is coming to us and sees the same. We are defiling it, making it a den of thieves. Do you think He is just sitting in a little corner? No. He is in you, waiting on you. Now, He has His eyes of fire on His church! He burns to see His temple – YOU - clean and pure, to see YOU praying in power, doing all things it was built to do! He built it, and the gates of hell shall not prevail. All He is asking you to do is to EAT and to DRINK! I have seen people growing so much, and they stop. Why? Because they stop eating the BREAD! Now, all of these conflicts. We have been telling you it is ALL ABOUT THE TABLE THAT YOU ARE NOT EATING FROM, but you are still fighting against it.
Why does He care so much about it? Because if you don’t eat, the whole Body will not grow! Imagine the whole Body eating, we will take the city! The primitive Church was EATING, BREAKING THE BREAD DAILY, and we struggle to spend one hour in the Word, forsaking the assembling of the saints (Hebrews 10:25). This gathering of the saints should be natural. We were created to eat spiritual food! You are trying to worship Him with your favorite song, but you reject the TRUTH, you reject the WORD! Real worshipers are always eating HIM EVERY DAY. If we do, we will never die! I really believe some people think God just gives us a good idea! But no. His Words are commandments, and there is a reason why He tells us what to do! He is God. He is the one who made what is called food to sustain life! This is that in the wilderness – manna from heaven. He is the bread of life. Now, we are spirit, and He who eats this bread shall never die.
Buying means something coming in, something coming in to be possessed or bought, and selling is going out. There is an exchange! Jesus starts cleaning out the temple! He is dealing with the things you are buying. Why are you buying? He is dealing with things you are selling. Why are you selling? What is strengthening your spiritual man? It is not that He is against buying and selling. The problem is, what are you buying? Are you buying gold tried in the fire (Revelation 3:18)? The issue is not what you are selling or exchanging because you can sell without money, without compromise, but the Gospel always is supposed to be free of charge (1 Corinthians 9:18). He is that which the Temple was created for. This exchange is happening in the temple, but God is dealing with it right now. He is flipping tables! When He comes in, He will deal with those who are buying lies and selling lies! Those who are serving different breads and eating from different tables! Why does He have to flip the table every Sunday? Because you keep eating from the wrong table! Deliverance cleans what’s coming in and out! When all we have is pure water coming in, all that will start to happen is pure water coming out. That is what defiles a man: what comes out of the heart (Matthew 15:11)!
Everything should come from our hunger and thirst. You don’t trust people who are telling and feeding you with the Truth; everything that does not matter is feeding you, but you don’t want God to feed you. If you keep sitting at other tables, on the last day, Jesus will be your conspiracy! Even when He spoke these words, there were no tables at the touch of a button! It was books and voices in a person. Now, how much more important it is to eat daily bread!
Mark my words: if you keep eating from HIS TABLE, you will be way stronger than you are right now! Man shall not live by worship alone, not by bread alone, but by every Word flowing out from the mouth of God and EVERY DAY! The Holy Spirit is in us to clean us and give us clean hands and a pure heart! Who would not sweep the whole house to find that treasure! Sweep the house. Remember, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19)! When we are saved, the house – the temple - is cleaned and delivered. The temple is swept and garnished! We must continually be filling it with oil! Daily! What does Jesus warn us about? He says, in Matthew 12:44-45, when the strongman (an unclean spirit) returns to the house where he came out, and he finds it empty, swept, and garnished, the strongman goes and gets more of his friends (seven other spirits). The house can end up being worse than its first stage!
Let’s go deep! There was the showbread in the temple (Exodus 25:30). It represents the PRESENCE! The 12 TRIBES of Israel in the Old Testament. The PROVISION of God. Jesus saw Himself as the showbread! Bread from heaven! The same bread the priest would put on the table daily! Now, He is the high priest of this temple called US! We know now it is JESUS, and JESUS represents the 12 tribes. He is the GOVERNMENT of God and His Word! When we eat it, we are feeding ourselves with provisions and with the presence. These revelations take us a few steps deeper into the showbread, into Christ. This is a tremendous revelation about us being many temples!
Only the priest was allowed to eat the showbread, but we see Jesus mentioning David in Matthew 12:3-5, how David broke protocol and ate what only the priest was allowed to eat! David would not have waited for Sunday service! He was hungry! David was the first of many to be able to eat from the table in the temple as a type and shadow. Now it is written, He has made us priests and kings (Revelation 1:6)!
All He is asking you: Pick up the fork and eat. Is that so hard? But you can be doing this and that all day, because the spirit of this age has indoctrinated the whole world. If you don’t eat His flesh and eat His blood, you will NEVER have life in you (John 6:54)! People ask God for instructions, but when God tells them what to do, they still don’t do it. We shall not profane the temple by not doing what our Lord and Savior commands us to do. There is still a pattern. It is just in the Spirit now.
Praying without ceasing is eating without ceasing! How do we really thank God? By following Him, by obeying Him, by eating the food He gives us! Religious self-righteous people make sure to “thank God” before they eat their meal, but when heavenly food is set before them, they complain and are not thankful. They reject and spit on it! Religious self-righteous people worship the COMMUNION SUNDAY DAY, once a month, but when communion is served daily, they shut their mouths and don’t eat! We do not eat with our eyes, but we eat with our spirit. We don’t eat with our minds but with our spirits. God is not just written! He is alive!
All the disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray (Luke 11:2-4)! Jesus pointed them to focus on the type of relationship! “Father, I come to you because there is nobody I can go to.” … “Thy kingdom come on Earth as it is in heaven. Kingdom of joy, peace, righteousness.”…The third is the most important thing: “Give us this day our daily bread!” The bread is there; it has been given to you! He gives to all who ask! You can be sitting at the temple all day long!
Here it comes…verse 3, “Give us day by day our daily bread.” Let this not only be our prayer but our sincere lifestyle. Open your mouth to say it, but also open your mouth to eat when He sets the table before you! There is no way to forgive without eating the BREAD. There is no way to NOT walk in the flesh without eating the BREAD. You are trying to do spiritual things, without eating spiritual BREAD EVERY DAY! Jesus did not make it so hard for us to follow. That is the life of freedom! You cannot have any of it if you don’t EAT. It is not about the DAILY BREAD but the DAILY BREAD GIVEN THIS DAY!
Look at these people and be inspired by them. Continuing DAILY WITH ONE ACCORD…Just like Acts 2:46, we are continuing daily together! The primitive church met house to house, daily! All you need to do is do it and daily! Be in one accord with it! But we can’t even find one hour to invest in there. Jesus asked Peter, “Can you not watch with me for one hour?” (Matthew 26:40). If you are eating, the enemy will never be able to touch you or to touch your mind! God does not put anything else on the table BUT HIS OWN SELF!
Now, look at this: BREAKING THE BREAD FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. WITH GLADNESS AND SINGLENESS OF HEART (verse 46)! Jesus said, take this bread and eat, and as OFTEN YOU DO, DO IT FOR ME. Communion (Luke 22:19). His Word is not that perishable manna sent to Moses and the people in the wilderness (Exodus 16)! Eat it! This is manna from heaven!
God delivered Jesus during His fast from temptation (Matthew 4:1-11) because He was eating from the table of God for 40 days! Nothing! He was in the wilderness but had the Word of God! He was not eating anything but everything of GOD! God showed Jesus in that time that the devil has nothing in Him! Don’t worry when you come out of this fast, out of this wilderness, the devil will find nothing in you! Even with all the voices! Keep eating straight from the table of God!
“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4
Your problem is that you are battling your own gods. “I just can’t break this temptation!”…because you are not eating! He delivers us from evil! You don’t need more deliverance: You are delivered! You don’t need your brothers to hold you up every day. All you need is to EAT! Why are you trying to live by BREAD ALONE? He said, “I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” John 6:48-51
Pay attention to this: If you eat of ME, you will never die! (verse 51). Choose this day what you decide to eat! He has freely given to you. All you need is to hit a button on your phone or TV and eat. But you find time to watch football, news, to gossip, to listen to your favorite song all day long, to complain, to hold offenses, to rebel. You can find time to find things on the internet that look like Jesus, but when you eat them, you get sick. Your spirit gets weak, and you start dying. “Oh, do you think only you have the word of Truth, you ask? But look at you eating everything mixed with the word of God, and you are dying!
Try to eat the WORD for two weeks, and you will like it! Keep eating daily! Your body will be shocked because it is not used to filet! Chew it! Grab the fork! He will become the acquired taste you seek, that thing that you are supposed to crave! Stop promising that you are going to eat Him when you are eating from all other tables. Baal is feeding you. You are licking the crumbs from the table of the enemy, from Jezebel’s table. Choose today which table you will be eating from! Find that desperation to ask for that DAILY BREAD and eat that DAILY BREAD! Today! He is giving you your daily bread! Pick up the fork and eat, together as the Body, and when you are alone, with your family, with your kids, eat it and have everlasting life! Don’t eat complaining like the ones that died in the wilderness! Eat it with gladness and singleness of heart!
“And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.” Acts 2:46-47
