PARTAKERS

A chip off the old block... We know when a person uses this saying, they are saying that the son is just like his father: the same characteristics, the same behaviors; so now that we have been born again, let's see what we should look like. I want to be a chip off the Rock of salvation, off the Rock whose name is Jesus. This happens when we abide in Him. He is in us, changing us from Glory to Glory!

God wants to make us rocks from THE ROCK. He can only do that if we are part of THE ROCK. We need to be PARTAKERS of the same ROCK! Partaker means to be connected to the vine. How many storms, just as in Matthew 14:22-36, has God sent us into so He can show up and also show the authority we have as we are partakers with Him? Jesus used this storm to make that clear to His disciples. "I AM " is everything! When the winds were strong, Jesus showed up and said, "IT IS I!" Jesus did not say, "Hey, remember me?" Remember, it is I! Who is I? It is I AM. Who is I AM? It is everything!

Peter was not confident about it, even though he had seen all that Jesus had already done, but Peter was not sure about partaking of the same authority and power. But once Jesus told him to come, Peter connected to eternity, to the Word of God, to THE VOICE! He walked on water.

Jesus had a plan that the Glory would stay with us forever; the Glory passed by Moses, but now, it is staying in us forever. He does not want to just have it in you, but now he wants you to manifest it to others! When Peter took his eyes off the Word/Jesus, He got fearful and began to sink! We also will always have this test of faith in every storm of life; every time we sink, He is always there to save us. Every time He does it, we are being built up in faith in Him, in His divine nature.

I have never seen a human walking on water besides Jesus (being fully man and fully God). Peter did, but once he started to sink, Jesus rebuked him and said, "O ye of little faith." We don't want to have the faith of Peter; he took only one step and sank. Wow, I was thinking to myself, if I ever saw someone walk on water, even taking only three steps, I would say, "Wow, this person has the most faith I have ever seen!" Wow, but Jesus rebuked Him. Wow, what a high expectation He is asking and expecting in us! We want to have the faith of Jesus. He took so many steps on the water! If we have that kind of faith, they will say of us, verse 33: "Of a truth thou art the Son of God." But the Religious will say, "Blasphemy!" The demons will attack you, and you will be demonized, and you will be hated by all men!

Check John 6:16-21 out! Even reading this documentation, we need the Spirit of God to understand it and to get revelation, or we will miss out! What I am trying to explain is that the written Word is still the Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, but for us to grasp all of the revelation of it, we need the Holy Spirit! The breath of God is the breath of life. Faith comes by hearing God's words. Many are misled by thinking faith comes by re-reading God's words. Hearing ears are ears ready to walk on water!

This is why we know that, apart from Him, we can do nothing! Finally, why are we afraid of certain situations if we are connected to Him? Unless we are not connected at all! It is all about FAITH in whom we are with!

Let's read 2 Peter 1. This is the apostle who had walked with Him and now is talking to us about this divine power (verse 3). He has called us to GLORY and VIRTUE! What came out of Jesus when the woman with the issue of blood touched Him (Luke 8:46-50)? VIRTUE! Divine Nature!

"According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." (Verses 3-4)

We are now PARTAKERS OF POWER, GLORY, AND VIRTUE! This will only manifest through the KNOWLEDGE OF GOD, verse 2 of 2 Peter. So, LET'S TAKE OUR PART! When we are PARTAKERS, we become more Godlike! This divine nature, this divine form, starts to manifest!

Let's go back to 2 Peter chapter 1, verse 5 until verse 21! To add FAITH TO OUR VIRTUE has nothing to do with a person's character, but to the POWER of God...add FAITH TO THAT VIRTUE - THAT SAME VIRTUE THAT CAME OUT OF JESUS WHEN HE HEALED THAT WOMAN (Luke 8:43-48)! This virtue that needs to be added means add POWER TO YOUR FAITH! What is inside can be pulled from you without you even speaking or even realizing it. Jesus knew that someone pulled virtue out of Him by their faith! He was just being Himself. He did not pray. He did not speak. He did not initiate this encounter. She did it with her faith. But Jesus was so in touch, so connected to His inner man, to His spirit, His divinity, His divine nature that He knew something was going on in the supernatural and in the unseen by her faith!

We are building ourselves up on the revelation of His divine nature so the world can see this nature, this virtue, and this glory to be manifested! He wants to make us a CHIP OFF THE OLD BLOCK! The latter Glory Church will manifest, not just a few steps on the water, but they will live on the water! These are the sons of the living God!

This will happen not by might or power but by your receiving, by your believing, by your surrendering, by your remembering His Word, and by becoming the Word! Verse 15 of 2 Peter 1 says: "endeavor that you may always be able to remember these things …” Verily, verily, verily, I say the same thing to you, over and over, again and again, if I am in this tabernacle here on Earth (verse 13), until this Word is established in you! So you won't be tossed, sinking in the water, but established in the house, anchored to the cornerstone! The same stature, virtue, knowledge, power, and the same nature!

Peter and Paul mentioned about "holy men of God" (verse 21); now we are many, we are many holy men and women, a holy nation! We know no man after the flesh (2 Corinthians 5:16-18). We now have this new creation, a holy, divine creation. This is you and me, no longer old nature, but now new nature, and it is divine!

Let's read John 17:14-26. May they all be one as the Father was one with the Son! The same nature in us, John 1, the Word becoming one in us! How will the world believe the son was sent? When the Church manifests that same divine nature!

A lie is to believe that many streams lead to Christ; many say this. But there is only one river to the Father: Jesus. And then many rivers come from the River of God. There is no opposite way. All those rivers are one river! Only one will lead to the river of life! Out of their belly will flow rivers of life (John 7:38)! What is flowing out of His belly? The same Glory! The same Glory was given to us! Where is He? Wherever He is, we should be, also! The Glory before the foundation of the world is ours! He has declared and revealed this nature and made it possible! "I in them..." God in us! The same stature and measure of Jesus.

Let's look at Colossians 1:26-27. Don't try to seek mysteries among the dead! Look for the living among the living because He reveals Himself to His saints! God has made his riches known that were hidden for ages and from generation to generation! NOW is made manifest to His saints! From the head of the Church to the Body, we were given all things. We were made for His Glory!

The same spirit that raised Christ from the dead is living inside His Church. “O Father, manifest Your son, this nature, Your Spirit in Your Church, manifest the Book of Revelation, Revelation!” The Spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus Christ; the divine nature is manifesting! You shall do great things! You shall do the same and greater things. He said you shall be the manifestation of the invisible God because you carry His divine nature and because you are partakers of His divine Glory. It is written: You are the light of the world. In Him, we live, we breathe, and we have our new nature. Do you believe the Book? Do you believe the Word? If so, let it become you!
